“Straw Men” was written by Writer/Director Neil Willoughby during the 2020 quarantine in an attempt to explore the anxiety of what it means to lose a feeling of security in the places and people we once considered “safe”.

"Straw Men" won both "Best Thriller" and "Best Cast" at the Autumn 2021 Independent Film Festival in Toronto, ON. Other nominations include "Best Cinematographer"  (Chattanooga Underground Film Festival, Alternative Film Festival), "Best Short" & "Best Editing" (Chatham-Kent International Film Festival), Best Score (Chattanooga Underground Film Festival) and Best Writer (Horror Movie Freaks Film Festival).
